Initial study planning
UCR provides support for planning and conducting clinical studies, from early ideas and funding applications to study design and implementation.
To get the most value from our support, we recommend that you contact us at an early stage, for example when preparing a funding application.
Book an advisory meeting to discuss topics such as
- study design, sample size and protocols
- statistical analysis plans
- regulations for clinical trials (medicinal products and medical devices)
- contact with authorities and applications
- data management plans, including selection of EDC and CRF
- data flow design
- registry data access
- site contacts and agreements
- data quality assurance, including monitoring
Advisory services are funded and free of charge for researchers at Uppsala University and Region Uppsala.
For additional practical work, such as statistical analysis, programming, database development, monitoring or project management, we can provide a cost estimate.
